KBK Adivasi Central University & similar ones in other backward-n-tribal district clusters

The undivided Koraput-Balangir-Kalahandi of Orissa is one of the most backward regions of India. These districts also have a very high tribal population. Recently, the CM of Orissa urged the Centre to accord approval for a central university in that area. The HRD minsiter Mr. Singh sought a formal proposal while appreciating the rationale behind the idea. We would like to champion the immediate establishment of such a central University in KBK and other such district clusters of India.

Japaneese National Universities

Japan is divided to 47 prefectures. Japan has 89 national universities and there is at least one in each prefecture. India should follow the same model and have at least one "central university" in each of its states.
